Transportation
While there isn't direct public transportation to Monte Sano State Park, the most convenient way to reach it is by car. From downtown Huntsville, take Governor's Drive east, which eventually turns into Monte Sano Boulevard. Follow the signs to the park entrance. Parking is available within the park for a fee.

Park is open daily from 7:00 AM to sunset.
Ticket Price
$5 per adult, $2 per child (ages 6-12), children under 6 are free.
